Main roads

The main road in Val di Rhemes is the Regional Route n° 24 (Regional Route of Val di Rhemes) than runs through the valley floor from Introd to Rhemes Notre Dame with some minor branches leading to various hamlets on both sides of the valley.

Officially the Regional Route n°24 ends in Rhemes Notre Dame but in fact it stretches further up to the hamlet of Thumel where there is an ample parking area (partly toll free) from which you can walk through the footpaths towards South-West to the Granta Parei peak and the Benevolo refuge.

To get updated road condition bulletin about the Regional Route n°24 you can connect to the official website of Valle d'Aosta and check the proper link.
